INTVZ FitMe Try-On ("the App") is a Shopify app made by INTVZ ("we", "us"). It adds 3D view and virtual try-on buttons to your product pages. This policy explains what information the App collects when you install it, and what is recorded when your shoppers use try-on.
1. Information we collect from merchants
When you install the App, Shopify gives us access to the following, and we store it to run the App:
- Store details: your store domain, store name and store contact email.
- Staff account details: the name, email and locale of the staff member who opens the App, as provided by Shopify's session data, plus the access tokens needed to call the Shopify API.
- Product details: for the products you choose to connect, the product ID, title, image URL and SKU. We write two product metafields (the try-on link and the 3D view link) to those products.
- Plan details: the subscription plan you choose. Billing is handled by Shopify; we never see or store payment card details.
The App requests the read_products, write_products, read_themes and write_publications permissions. It does not access orders, customers or checkout data.
2. Information recorded when shoppers use try-on
Camera images never leave the shopper's device. Face, hand and foot tracking runs inside the browser. Video frames are not uploaded, stored or sent to us or to any third party. If a shopper takes a snapshot, it is saved to their own device only.
To give you try-on analytics, each try-on session records:
- the product SKU that was tried on;
- the date, start time and duration of the session;
- the visitor's IP address and the country derived from it;
- browser and operating system names.
We do not collect shoppers' names, email addresses, Shopify customer accounts or order history. Repeat sessions from the same IP address, browser and product within ten minutes are merged into one.
3. How we use information
- to connect your products to their 3D models and show the buttons on your storefront;
- to set up your showcase and build 3D models for products you request;
- to show you try-on statistics in VTO Dashboard;
- to contact you about your account, model requests and support.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
We use these providers to run the App. They process data only on our behalf:
- Vercel (app hosting, Singapore region)
- Aiven (MySQL database, Singapore)
- Render (try-on API hosting)
- Amazon Web Services S3 (3D model files)
- Telegram (internal notifications to our team about new installs and model requests)
5. Retention and deletion
- When you uninstall the App, we delete your store, staff, product-connection, model-request and plan records.
- We act on Shopify's privacy webhooks. A
shop/redactrequest deletes everything we hold for that store. Forcustomers/data_requestandcustomers/redact, the App stores no Shopify customer records, so there is nothing to export or delete. - Try-on session records are kept while your store uses the App so you can see historical statistics. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- 3D models we built for your products remain in our catalogue unless you ask us to remove them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how it is used. Shoppers can make these requests to the merchant, or directly to us. Email service@intvz.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, the database requires TLS connections, and access is limited to the people and services that need it to run the App.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. For significant changes we will notify merchants inside the App.
